Guy G New Orleans , LA November 03, 2016 Dryer ran about 3 minutes then stopped and lights blinked and it beeped Replaced control board. Had to remove top and front panel. Control board was on back of front panel. Harness easily unplugged. Had to move lens and shaft parts from old board to new board. Two screws were on back of top cover. Hardest part was getting screws out of top on a stacked dryer and washer without pulling unit out of closet. Needed socket set for that. Diane H Early , TX May 19, 2017 Appliance: Kenmore Dryer 41784152500 Dryer would run sometimes and other times not My dryer decided to have a mind of it's own about 6 months ago. It would run perfectly sometimes and then not run at all other times. After some research, we decided the likely culprit was the Control Board. I ordered the part and received it the next day. Our washer and dryer are stacked by shelving so we had to pull the unit out a bit out to access the screws to the lid. The change out took a little bit but was fairly easy. Hardest part was getting the new control board into the correct position on the dryer face plate. Dryer runs perfect, so we are still hopeful that this was the correct fix!
