Anthony W Miami , FL December 17, 2014 Appliance: Frigidaire Electric Dryer FAQE7077KB0 Dryer would stop after a minute or two i think it was e68 (button stuck or control board bad) I ordered the new control board from AppliancePartsPros.com. It was easy to replace. The top of the dryer only has 2 screws and it lifts right off. The control board has 5 screws. I was careful to note the location of each electrical connection and then removed all the wires. Then I inserted the different wires into the new board, resecured it with the screws, and tested it before replacing the lid. Perfect! I had two small problems that required me to unassemble it again (twice). First, I had it all back together and realized the round selector knob was not quite right. Turns out you need to take the black pin off the old board and put it on the new board (the new board did not have the pin). I put it all back together and then realized that the dark transparent plastic window for the digital display was also not included with the new part. Unassembled everything again, moved the piece from the old board to the new board, and everything worked great. I'm mechanically and electrically challenged, so I'm pretty proud that I was able to do this myself. Jodi U Washington Court House , OH November 29, 2016 Dryer did not turn on at all Replaced the control board and it works just fine now. Was as simple as removing some screws and unplugging the old part and plugging in the new one. Total time was about 30 minutes and it saved a fortune over a repair call.
