Frigidaire 134523106 Washer Main Control Board OEM Part

The control board replacement was fairly easy. I took some pics during the disassembly process to ensure that the wiring and button interfaces were restored to the proper positions.

Replaced the main controller module, after viewing the video. The replacement unit arrived in less than 24 hours, even though I expected 2 day delivery. WOW !! I had the new controller in and running in roughly 30 minutes. This washer is a front loader, of medium size 3.5 cu ft capacity and our upstairs washer/drier closet could not accommodate a unit more that 28 inches front to back. This saved me all kinds of problems replacing a 10 year old lightly used washer. Thanks !!

After reading the Technical Manual I determine the Control board was defective. I followed the instruction in the manual to remove the old part. installed the new part and started washing again. It was not hard to replace, just ensue that up remove the button-pins, the control knob with the stick attached and Led Display from the old part and install them in the new part before you start installing the new part. The cost on the board is less then 1/4 the cost of the machine; our set is 8 years old...Job Well Done!

Fixed by replacing control panel. Diagnostic indicated error code E43. Also measured wax motor on door lock assembly. It did not read as expected (1500 ohms), it only about 1250 ohms, but was not the problem.

Diagnosed as main computer board. The new board solved the issues. The repair video was very helpful and I installed the board with only one difficulty: in the video, after installing the several plastic inserts in the new frame, he turns it upside down and joins the two halves. Looks simple. It when I turned it over all the pieces fell out. They wouldnt' stay in. I eventually figured out how to make it work, but I looked at the video again and I noticed that sequence was not shown--did he have trouble too? While I'm happy with the result I'm also annoyed by the fact that when I first looked up the part the price was 131 dollars, but then I was told that part was incompatible, and the new cross-referenced part, tho the same part number, was a higher price. Seems like bait and switch.. However. The part fixed the problem and the part was delivered quickly.
