G B Islamorada , FL March 21, 2016 Appliance: Frigidaire Freezer FFU2065FW3 Frigidaire upright freezer stopped cooling light was on evaporator fan not turning This was tricky. The first thing I should have done was unplug the freezer and reset the control board. Instead, I checked the voltage to the fan, (none), voltage to the control board (good), and continuity of the temp sensor (good). Figured bad control board...ordered part. Then pulled freezer away from wall (why I hadn't unplugged it first - a real pain), unplugged and "replugged."it. This reset board and the fan started working. Still no cooling. Canceled part order (thank you for being open on Sunday Appliancepartspro)! Took controller off compressor and tested the compressor using a multimeter (good). Controller rattled when I shook it. Ordered new controller, replaced it and freezer now @ -5 deg F.
