Ohm'ed out the heat elements and both were good. Outlet had 240 volts. I had reviewed several items on the internet. Everything pointed to the control board. Ordered the part on a Sunday night using standard shipping and received it Tuesday. Replaced and tested. Over is working again. William L Cutchogue , NY April 05, 2015 Appliance: Model KENMORE 790.97423901 F 10 error code Disconnected power supply,removed upper rear cover,unplugged 4 electric plug connectors on controller,removed 4 phillips screws securing controller,removed and replaced controller after swaping cover plate from old to new one,installed 4 screws,reattached electrical connections ,re installed rear upper cover,done.plugged in range.total time,about 20-30 minutes being very carefull..cover plate has adhesive and care must be taken prying off old controller,make sure it is lined up perfectly on new controller before pressing down securly on new one.. Homer G Palm City , FL June 13, 2021 Oven would not pre heat to required temperature. I read that the controller and probe controlled the oven temperature. Also read if replacing controller you should replace the overlay. So I ordered all three parts and installed myself with no problem. I took a photo with my phone prior to unplugging wires so I knew the right way to plug the wires into the new controller. Works like new. Only need a nut driver and screwdriver to repair. So easy to change yourself. I can imagine how much a service tech would have charged. I ordered the part on Monday and received the part on Wednesday. Great service guy!!!!
