Frigidaire 316462864 Oven Control Board OEM Part

My wife went to press the control pad and created a spark. My first thought was a fuse had blown. I used the chat line and was told no fuse and yes a spark can zap a controller. Unfortunately they sent me the wrong controller but very quickly sent me the correct one. Pull the stove out and unplug the unit. Take the cover off under the control panel. There are four screws holding the controller, the right rear screw is a little tricky, the gas line is slightly in the way (use a long screwdriver). The next thing I did was take a few photos of where all the wires were connected. Disconnected everything, connected everything to the new controller. There are 2 ribbon wires that connect to the back of the controller but because you're connecting everything upside down they're in the front. I wish they had made them just 1 or 2 inches longer. This is the most challenging thing in the whole process, you connect one and as you're trying to connect the other the first comes undone. Gently turn it over put it in place, put the screws in (I used clamp tweezers to hold the right rear screw in place while I tightened it). Put the cover back on, plug it in, push the stove back in place and you're good to go.
