Description

This electronic oven control board manages your range's heating and display functions. Replacing a failed control restores accurate temperature regulation, bake/broil operation, and a working clock/timer so the oven heats and responds as it should. What it does:

• Directs power to the bake and broil elements through internal relays
• Monitors the oven temperature sensor and regulates heat to maintain the set temperature
• Provides the clock/timer and status display; interfaces with the keypad
• Typical symptoms: won't heat or stops heating mid-cycle, inconsistent temperatures, blank/unresponsive display, error codes or beeping

Install notes:

• Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing; this is a line-voltage component
• Use ESD precautions; handle the board by the edges and avoid touching contacts
• Note/photograph wire locations; move connectors one at a time and fully seat any ribbon cable
• Transfer any mounting brackets and the faceplate/overlay from the original control if your model uses them
