Description

This coupling connects the washer drive motor to the transmission to transfer power for agitation and spinning. Replacing a worn or broken coupling restores reliable drive engagement and reduces noise and slipping. What it does:

• Transfers motor rotation to the transmission so the drum agitates and spins
• Prevents metal-on-metal contact between motor and gearbox when intact
• Common symptom: washer won't agitate or spin, or slips under load
• Common symptom: loud grinding or clunking noises from the washer during cycle
