David M Greenfield , OH November 12, 2021 Appliance: Model EIFLS6OLSSO Leaking electrolux washer on pedestal Tried the valve first looked like it was leaking a little. On the second load we had a bigger leak than before. Went back in after 2 days and checked my previous repair. I had releveled the machine so the water was coming from a different area. Rear a post about the drain hose. I headed straight for it and checked the door seal as well. When I got to the drain hose and found the culprit a light went on. I now understood what was happening. Replaced the hose an basket then changed a couple of clamps to auto motive style clamps for ez install. A little tricky but have some patience and it will all fall into place. Maureen E Boise , ID February 03, 2023 Leaking water. Googled "leaking washing machine" and the most common cause was the inlet sump hose. The videos on how to repair didn't seem too difficult, so my son and I opened up the washer, and sure enough, found a hole in the accordion part of the hose. We ordered the replacement part, it came super fast, and we followed the video on the part replacement. It went great!!! I know we saved a lot of money, which, on a school nurse's salary, is important! And my son really felt a sense of accomplishment, too! Michael L B Maineville , OH March 01, 2022 Appliance: Electrolux Washer EIFLW55HMB0 Slow to no drain action and unreliable spinning I found Appliance Parts Pros on-line. Searching for parts, I found it to be very easy and the video(s) were very helpful. I had no clue as to how this washing machine came apart. After disassembly, I found the filter was pretty clogged, so this was the main reason for the slow drain and bad spinning. Most probably, I could have just cleaned and replaced it, but I figured that it was such a pain for me to get my machine out of the alcove, that I'd just go ahead and purchase the filter, the filter cover, and a new tub belt. Now, the machine is performing like new. One note of interest, the belt was purchased from the website utilizing the model number. The belt sent was about an inch too short. I contacted the Pros and provided the serial number, they had the new belt at my doorstep the following day, Kudos to Mike for his assistance and almost miraculous turn-around. THE MAN! Thanks.
