Frigidaire 240599803 Refrigerator Meat Pan Cover Frame OEM Part

I ordered the replacement part. Your website was the only one I searched which exactly identified the correct part for me to order. The exploded diagram with numbered parts was very helpful.

I have replaced this part twice now. I am looking for a way to reinforce the bottom. Make sure your drawer is pushed all the way in so that the lip of it provides additional support.

Cover-meat pan was simple - it fit right in place. The Crisper pan "setting slider" piece did not come with the new crisper pan (drawer) so it took a pair of needle nosed pliers to break the drawer around the slider to get it out. Had to fight with it a little while. Once I got the old slider off, it easily went into place in the new drawer. Saved the cost of a repairman!

Replaced with new ice machine. Part arrived as expected and was already adjusted for optimal ice making. I just plugged it in and tightened two bolts. Easy easy. Started making ice once temperature reached 0 degrees and didn’t stop until bin was full. It takes about a day to fill up ice machine. Works perfectly. One suggestion is to make sure you have a new or fully operational water filter in your refrigerator or your ice machine will not make ice at its optimal level. If your water filter is 6 months old and/or your water dispenser pushes water slower than normal you likely need a new water filter. Check your refrigerator manual for your recommended replacement intervals. With a new water filter and new ice machine my ice bin is full and my wife and kids are happy.
