Deborah P Yuba City , CA June 23, 2014 The latch made of plastic broke and the soap dispenser would not stay closed during the washing cycle I looked up the control panel diagram and found the dispenser drawer assembly put in my part #, found out that I needed to ordered the whole assembly and that my # for my washer would work with the different # on line. Since I regularly clean the dispenser drawer I knew how to take it out and put back in. Easy to fix and the part was here in 2 days. Push the tab in the back of the drawer marked as "Push" to release the latch, slide it out, slide in the replacement unit. Done! David C Martinsburg , PA October 04, 2016 Dispenser drawer wouldn't stay in duriung was (or any other time for that matter) I just replaced the drawer assembly, as others have described. It's shameful that the drawer was designed with plastic catches that wear out rather quickly, and the replacement part (a piece of plastic) is so expensive.
