Vincent R Llano , TX September 13, 2015 Very loud squeak on dryer!!!! Ordered the dryer preventative maintenance kit from the site. Shipped on a Tuesday and arrived on Thursday. All parts needed were included. Wasn't sure where exactly the EXTREMELYand LOUD annoying squeak was coming from and couldn't escape it in the house. Wife threatened to buy a new dryer. For $36 including the shipping the dryer is running like new....and quiet! BTW....even my wife was impressed and happy! Easy to follow instructions! I figured I knew which part it was but decided to go ahead and buy the whole kit and replace everything. While working on it, I'm pretty convinced it was the rear bearing stuff since there wasn't really any grease in there and some wear. Difficult and long part was scraping the old felt and glue off. Metal putty knife (about 1" wide or so) would have been best, but used a knife. That's why I gave the challenge a 3 stars. The rest went VERY fast. Would DEFINITELY recommend. Again, a little elbow grease and about 2.5 hours. Again, though, if I had a putty knife it may have been quicker.
