Description

This part is a Frigidaire freezer door assembly. This product includes the freezer door and all of the components and door pieces (handles, etc.). Warping or damage done to a freezer door may cause an inability to close properly. This problem leads to an imperfect seal and will cause temperature issues. Issues like these can lead to food spoilage since the freezer can't contain the cold air needed to freeze the food. When problems like this happen, it's time for a new freezer door. Before beginning any installation, be sure to unplug the appliance from any electrical and water sources. To remove the old freezer door, detach the cable connecter from the upper hinge. Trace the cable down to the bottom and disconnect the water tube. Disconnect the screws from the top hinge and pull upwards, removing the door from the bottom hinge. Remove the screws from the bottom hinge and discard them.
