Gerald O Manhattan Beach , CA June 11, 2020 Appliance: Model PART # 154860901 (AP5305698) No water would pump into dishwasher. Intermittent problem that I had a local repairman look into 3 months ago. He got it to work by resetting the float switch. Dishwasher stopped again and could not fix by resetting the switch. So ordered a replacement which had an update to switch from a micro switch to a magnetically operated reed switch. All was fine but the plugs for wiring were not compatible. The instructions had a warning to not connect by splicing wires. But I checked the reed switch and with ohmmeter checked OK. I have tools for crimping and used butt splices. Now water flows and washes just like new!
