Michael P Norristown , PA May 28, 2017 Appliance: Model FRIDGIDAIRE FRT18S6JBO I accidentally broke a fan blade while vacuuming the condenser coils The old fan blade did not come off the motor shaft as easily as the videos I googled had shown. I could not pull it off by hand and it was too tight of a space to jimmy off the fan blade with a tool. Had to remove the fan motor assembly (2 hard-to-reach bolts) from the fridge in order to jimmy the fan blade off with pliers. Venkat V Munster , IN July 26, 2020 Appliance: Electrolux Electrolux/Freezer E32AF75FPS0 Loud noise from my Electrolux freezer. We have an Electrolux fridge freezer combo. 6 months ago I called a repairman to fix the fridge when it started making a lot of noise from the bottom. After internet research, I knew the problem was condenser motor fan blade. The repairman came 3 times ordered various parts and after 2 months he said he can’t fix because there is no access to the fan from the back of the refrigerator . We were going to replace the whole thing for 5k. Then I did more research on applincepartspros.com ordered various components (didn’t know the size of blade exactly) pulled the fridge out lay it on the floor back portion down then in 10mts I could replace the blade. Problem solved. Now a week ago freezer started doing the same. Fixed using same technique in 30mts . This web site saved me big $$$. I should have done a video but the only difference is the access to the fan is from the bottom not back of the freezer/fridge. You need to empty the freezer and lay it on floor the back portion down.
