Alan C Dunnellon , FL November 01, 2016 Leakimg water filter housing turned off the water supply to the filter and the ice maker Looked up the serial # and model number on your site found the parts I needed and ordered the filter housing and a two pack of filters - removed 3 screws with a 1/4" nut driver- removed the 2 push on fittings from the top of filter - reused 2 push on fittings- reinstalled the housing and new filter-turned on the water supply-checked for leaks and ran about 1gal. of water thru water dispenser to get all the air bubbles out Read More... My wife had ordered an alleged similar water filter as a replacement and when we installed it we had a constant leak from our refrigerator water dispenser. I wasn't sure if it was the filter cup, housing, or the filter so I ordered all three and they were delivered really quick and in good order. The leaking door water dispenser was fixed by replacing the off-brand water filter with the proper Frigidaire brand replacement. Read More...
