Michael F Murrieta , CA June 16, 2015 Bearings were bad in motor no code yet just a loud high pitched noise Took it to the garage. set it up on a platform so i had access to the bottem of the dishwasher. removed the plastic cover. hooked up water and a 5 gallon bucket for the drain. started unit looked under it while the high pitched noise was going. located the noise to the electric motor/pump. ordered new one and replaced. only 4 torq type bolts holding motor/pump in place. removed hoses first (used pliers) installed motor , hoses . electrical wires were plug ins. very easy. tested dishwasher in garage for possible leaks from hoses before putting back in house.
