Frigidaire 218730609 Fresh Food Door Gasket OEM Part

Well, the replacement part was correct but the video instructions were not for my fridge, looks like the video is generic. My fridge is 15 yrs old so I get it. I had to back out the screws on the the molding and use a flat head screw driver to push the gasket edge in. Took me a while to figure this out but smooth sailing once I did.

Took old off and replaced with the new

The refrigerator gasket had a large gap at the top - due to the leak, both gaskets had mold growing on them so I just replaced both. Generally straightforward, only advice I would give is to loosen the screws as much as possible before removing. On the freezer, the plastic piece (door) which holds the gasket in place cracked in a few locations because I didn't loosen it enough before removing. The corners were tough to fit in but was able to. Loosened the screws on the bottom door more and it was much easier. Once it was installed, there were a few spots on both gaskets that would not seal. I heated them up with a hair dryer, and stretched it out while it cooled. Took some time but I got it to fit correctly, and it straightened out more over the next day or so.

Replace the door gasket.

I bought a new replacement gasket, took the door off and placed it on the floor, and begin to remove the screws that held the inner door panel on. Removed the old gasket and installed the new one making sure the inner lip of the new gasket locked into the door panel groove. Reinstalled all the screws, and put the door back on and tested the seal by opening and closing the door.
