I ordered the gasket...came in as promised (actually, we were in a campground in the keys). I watched the helpful video which validated my thinking about the repair job. Stripped out the old gasket and popped in the new one...maybe took 5 minutes. Easy...Will say, when the new one was in, I felt the magnetic "grip" wasn't as strong as the old...but it seems adequate and getting some better after a day....like it had to "relax" into its new job.
