Description

This ignition generator creates the high-voltage pulses that light the surface burners on a gas cooktop or range. Replacing a failed module restores fast, consistent spark ignition and stops unreliable or constant clicking. What it does:

• Converts line voltage into rapid high-voltage sparks sent to the burner electrodes
• Coordinates spark output when a burner knob is turned to Lite
• Common symptoms: no spark/click, intermittent or weak spark, only some burners ignite, or continuous clicking after flame is present
