Sam D Ridgely , MD August 05, 2019 Broken glass shelf in refrigerator It looked so easy, and I was afraid to break the glass again so I tried to install without removing the shelf. That was not the answer. After I slid the shell out and placed it on a flat surface the glass slid right in. Things to watch out for are if you replaced the lock in plastic fasteners improperly when you cleaned out the broken glass.
