Description
This compressor grommet is a rubber mounting isolator that cushions and secures the compressor to the appliance chassis, helping reduce vibration and noise while preventing metal-to-metal contact and premature wear. What it does:
- Cushions compressor movement to reduce vibration transmitted to the cabinet
- Dampens noise and rattling caused by compressor operation
- Prevents direct metal-to-metal contact that can wear mounting points
- Helps keep the compressor positioned and secured under load
