Salvatore L Maple Heights , OH March 07, 2016 The original door handles had discolored Replaced the door handles with new ones. It was a little harder than the repair videos I watched on YouTube. The trim pieces that needed to slide up above the handle and down below the handle to remove and expose the screws on the old handles came off pretty easily, but did not slide back on well once the new handles were installed. I had to remove the guides on the refrigerator and open up the slots on the back of the trim pieces to slide the guides in, then pop them back into the holes in the refrigerator door. Chris S Roswell , GA May 08, 2020 Lower meat drawer would not stay up, the upper guides were broken off. Door handles worn out. Lower Storage Bin was easy. Just reattached the existing front guide to the new lower bin. The door handles a little tricky when replacing the plastic vertical pieces that slide over the door handles to hide the screws and secure in place. If the trim pieces do not slide back easy, I removed the guides from the door then inserted them under the plastic grids within the trim pieces. Once secure I slid the trim pieces over the end to cover the door handle screws, then snapped the guides back into the holes on the front of each door. Secured just fine. Read More...
