Description

This water filter housing secures and seals the refrigerator's filter cartridge, routing water to the dispenser and ice maker. Replace it if the filter area leaks, the filter won't seat, or water/ice flow is reduced. What it does:

• Holds and seals the filter cartridge to the water system
• Directs water through the filter to the dispenser and ice maker
• Helps maintain proper pressure and a leak-resistant connection at the filter head
• Typical symptoms: leaking at the filter area, slow/no water from the dispenser, no ice production, filter won't lock in place

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing
• Dispense water to relieve line pressure; place a towel to catch residual water
• Note tube routing; use the quick-connect collets to release/insert water lines fully
• Restore water and power, check all connections for leaks, and flush the dispenser to clear air
