Description

This idler arm assembly restores proper dryer belt tension so the drum turns smoothly and reliably. It replaces a worn or damaged tension arm to help eliminate belt slipping and abnormal noise. What it does:

• Acts as the dryer belt tensioner to keep the drive belt properly seated on the drum and motor pulley
• Prevents belt slipping that can cause the drum to stop turning or to turn intermittently
• Reduces squealing, grinding, or rubbing noises caused by a worn or loose idler
• Helps extend belt life by maintaining correct alignment and tension
