Description

This ignitor module controls the spark used to light gas burners and the oven on compatible gas ranges. It restores reliable spark generation so burners and the oven can ignite when the cooktop or bake/ignite controls are used. What it does:

• Sends high-voltage spark pulses to burner and oven igniters so gas will light
• Diagnoses: clicking with no ignition, some or all burners fail to light, or intermittent ignition
• Works as the control interface between user valve switches and the spark electrodes
• Replaces a failed or intermittent spark control to restore normal ignition behavior
