Frigidaire 134426500 Inner Door Panel Kit OEM Part

Purchased the door panels (both sides) and replaced them both. Not sure if spending $150 on door parts for a 15 year old washer was a great investment, but the parts worked great. Took maybe five minutes to put it all back together.

I found this website with google search for my model number, located the inner door panel kit, ordered it, received it a day or two later, replaced the broken inner door panel and hinge with the ones provided in the kit. The hardest thing was figuring out how the door came apart, but once I had the replacement part in my hands it was pretty obvious. The hinge was a little tricky to get at, but fortunately for me, I have skinny arms. Also, I can now confirm that it is possible to assemble the door with the bowl shaped glass window installed backward, so that it projects out into the room rather than nesting into the machine.

I ordered the part, watched the video, and fixed it myself.

I determined the door plastic screw castings fell apart. The plastic could not be repaired and new inner and outer door panels were needed. I went on-line to Kenmore washers and entered the washer Model Number. The screen show the exact products I needed. I ordered the parts and in two days they arrived. It took about 30 minutes to remove the glass from the old door and reinstall it onto the new parts. Luckily the old hinge was still good and I screwed the new door on. My wife did a test run and it worked perfectly.

Purchased inner door from appliance parts. Watched video, and was done in 20 minutes.
