This high-temperature insulation is used in the oven assembly to contain heat and protect nearby components and cabinetry. Replacing damaged insulation helps the appliance maintain set temperatures and keeps exterior surfaces from getting excessively hot. What it does:

• Helps retain heat for stable baking and roasting temperatures
• Reduces heat transfer to the appliance frame and adjacent cabinets
• Replaces insulation that is torn, charred, or saturated with spills/grease

Install notes:

• Disconnect power; for gas models, also shut off the gas supply
• Remove the range or wall oven and access the oven body
• Wear gloves, eye protection, long sleeves, and a dust mask; fibers can irritate skin and lungs
• Reinstall in the same orientation/routing as the original; do not compress insulation or block vents
