Description

This evaporator insulator cushions and protects the evaporator assembly to help maintain proper airflow and reduce condensation and vibration-related noise. It's a direct-replacement trim/foam piece used where the evaporator meets the cabinet. What it does:

• Cushions the evaporator to prevent rubbing and vibration noise
• Helps control airflow around the evaporator for consistent cooling
• Reduces condensation and frost migration at the evaporator edges
• Helps maintain proper spacing and fit of the evaporator assembly

What's included: One evaporator insulator Install notes:

• Disconnect power to the appliance before accessing the evaporator compartment
• Remove applicable panels and ice/water components as needed to reach the evaporator
• Fit the insulator around or against the evaporator per the original orientation; use only recommended fasteners or adhesive if required
• Inspect adjacent seals and components before finishing
