Description

This compressor inverter module powers and controls a variable-speed refrigerator compressor. When the inverter fails, the compressor may not start or modulate correctly, leading to warm temperatures or intermittent cooling. Replacing the module restores proper compressor drive.

• Converts AC line power to controlled 3-phase output for the variable-speed compressor
• Receives commands from the main control to start and regulate compressor speed
• Typical failure symptoms: refrigerator/freezer warm, compressor not running though fans/lights work, brief humming/clicking then stopping, intermittent cooling, or inverter/compressor error indications
