Lost keys to freezer

No problem some one in our household lost the door key to freezer

Simple,ordered new door key, when new key, arrived I chained the Key to top door hinge with a long enough chain to reach the door lock.

The freezer started acting up the internal light would go off and the front panel would blank out when the door was opened

Unplugging and plugging the freezer back in did not fix the issue. I ordered a new front panel and installed in in the freezer. The freezer began working normally.
