David F Peterborough , NH May 12, 2015 The knob was broken off the washer My name is Steve and I was a houseguest at the house with the broken washer. I actually ordered the part and repaired it for them--I figured it was the least I could do for hosting me! This part shipped INCREDIBLY FAST!!! No tools were required to fix the machine. The old knob (if pushed in hard) provided enough grip to turn the broken back half of the knob counter-clockwise. Once that broke loose, it was as simple as unscrewing the old part, and screwing the new one in. You guys make all my repairs easier!
