I was walking from our dining room table to the sink when the UNTHINKABLE happened…my pants pocket caught the plastic knob on the front of the dishwasher and TORE it off in a moment of abject horror! We were distraught. What would we do? How would we survive? How could we even go on with our lives? In desperation; despite believing there was simply no hope left for us; we turned to the internet and typed in the model number and part number from the owner’s manual. In utter disbelief but with unbridled joy we were amazed to find the “Plastic Knob” we needed at AppliancePartsPros.com. Several sleepless nights followed as we waited anxiously for the package to arrive, but SUDDENLY it was there…in the mailbox! We all gathered around the dishwasher as I looked each family member in the eye one at a time, and assured them I would be as careful as possible. Then; using every ounce of courage and skill I had acquired across years of home repair projects; I slowly turned the knob around clockwise to match the shape of the switch arm, and slid it on. The whole room erupted with a cacophonous roar! The Plastic Knob fit!! Our home was once again whole and at peace, and we could live happily ever after. It may sound unbelievable, but that’s our appliance repair story. My only wish is that someday, somewhere out there in this crazy, mixed-up world, the next person who walks by their dishwasher and tears the Plastic Knob right off can know that there’s hope!
