Rhandi M Baltimore , MD January 03, 2015 The inner metal fittings that for knob on stove got pushed too deep into the canal The pilot control that sticks out from the stove is shaped like a circle with a flattened bottom. The inside metal piece in the plastic knob matches this shape and allows "grip" that turns the stove on. I suppose if I were more crafty, I could have rigged something but for me, it was easier to replace the entire knob. The repair was simple...just slide the new replacement knob on.
