This main top is the replacement metal cooktop surface that supports burners and cookware and protects internal range components. It restores a flat, secure surface for safe cooking and proper burner alignment. What it does:

• Protects internal wiring, burners and controls from spills and debris
• Restores proper burner alignment and pan stability when the original top is warped, dented or damaged
