Description
This main top assembly is the finished cooktop surface that surrounds and supports burners, grates, and drip pans—restoring a flat, secure cooking surface and clean appearance to the range. Ideal when the top is bent, cracked, or cosmetically damaged. What it does:
- Provides the finished surface around burners and secures burner components in place
- Restores proper alignment so grates and cookware sit level
- Replaces a warped, dented, or rusted cooktop surface that affects performance or appearance
- Helps prevent heat and food debris from reaching internal components
What's included: One main top assembly. Install notes:
- Disconnect power (and gas, if applicable) before beginning any service.
- Remove burner grates, caps, and drip pans first to access mounting screws.
- Keep mounting hardware and note alignment for reassembly; some models require lifting the top slightly to disengage clips.
