Bonnie M Conway , SC November 09, 2015 The oven venting fan wasn't working properly and not providing enough rpms the bearings were seizing up even after applying top shelf bearing oil First, Appliance Parts Pros.com was wonderful! They were able to find a match to the fan that's factory installed in the Kemore double wall, electric oven. I was on chat line with them and they were most helpful and patient with locating the correct part. My husband, retired HVACR business owner, took out the old part and replaced with the new part. Oven was working wonderfully within 15 minutes. The front display panel has to be removed to access the fan and motor. Some sheet metal screws need to be removed to access the fan area. The oven has to be tilted a bit to get to the top, but not a major undertaking. Once access is made, just a matter of removing the old part and replacing with the new part; disconnecting and reconnecting wire harnesses. Then, reverse the procedure, once the fan and motor are in place. Unfortunately, it's a poor design, in that the venting fan and motor sit on top of the oven where the majority of the heat accumulates. Secondly, this part was received in a matter of days. Very quickly shipped and received! Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
