Sandra B Fort Worth , TX October 07, 2014 Appliance: Frigidaire Side By Side Refrigerator MRS26LGJC2 My fridgedaire model no mrs26lgjc2 was not cooling in both freezer and refrigerator and water was coming onto floor from freezer side I had a repair man come out for $55 and he diagnosed it as having three problems and wanted $500 to fix it and gave me a list of parts I needed. So I ordered them from Appliance Parts Pros on Thursday evening and it shipped out Friday and I received them on Saturday morning. Yea! I took off the back cardboard panel and removed the Condenser fan motor with the blade and did just like the video suggested. I had a difficult time pulling it out and then I caught on. It took about one hour for me. It was difficult as I had to stand on my head and had little room to maneuver but I got it done. Next I replaced the defrost thermostat which was easy. 2 minutes. The defrost times at bottom front left was hard because the wires on bottom were to short to reach. I saved a lot of money doing it myself, thanks to APP I did it myself and will always use them. I won't be scared again. Read More... 9 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours Tools: Nut Drivers, Pliers, Screwdrivers, Socket Set
