Andy S Littleton , CO July 01, 2016 Condenser fan started growling and a day later stopped working It was a pretty easy fix not as easy as the 1 nut models they show on YouTube it had 3 tiny ones that my big hands had a bit of trouble with. It said 15 minutes it took me about a half an hour. I called a service company just to see what they would charge. $90.00 to say hello 1 hour minimal labor $110.00 and $120.00 for the part. It cost me $90.00 and 30 minutes of my time. Thank you appliance pro. Read More... 7 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Socket Set
Peggy T South Paris , ME August 13, 2019 Condenser fan motor died and blade was chewed up needed replacing. I originally ordered the Fan motor from a appliance dealer. I waited for 5 days for it to arrive. In the meantime I scavenge a motor from a junk refrigerator from the dump. It worked while I waited for the motor from the appliance dealer. When I picked it up 5 days later it was the "wrong" part. I was fuming mad. I went online and found you guys and ordered the correct parts in 5 minutes. It arrived in 1 day and a half, "COOL" ! The repair went quick and smooth and now the refrigerator runs great. Thank so very much and probably will have to use you again. Many Thanks! The starter was a mess, not sure about the capacitor, replaced just in case. I threw in a new fan because it was squeaky. BAM! $140.00 and a half hour of my precious time and bingo, my $700.00 refrigerator is purring like a kitten!??
