Joseph L Dolan Springs , AZ August 22, 2022 Appliance: Model FRIGIDAIRE FGMC3066UFA F045 convection fan motor error. After diagnosing/verifying the error code & problem I went online with AppliancePartsPros.com. on 8/15, I ordered a new Fan Motor, Fan Blade, and a Nut. Shortly after placing my online order, I discovered that I had ordered the wrong motor. I did not have the complete model number, I had missed the last character in the sequence which identified the correct 2-speed motor. I called AppliancePartsPros.com customer service the same day. The customer service agent was fantastic, he helped figure out the model number/motor error. He then canceled my original order, because it had not shipped, and ordered the correct motor with the fan blade and nut. I received shipping confirmation later that day and the parts were received on 8/18. I just installed the parts today 8/22, everything went well except when I tried to remove the fan nut. I didn't know the nut was left-handed and I broke the original fan blade trying to remove the nut in the wrong direction. I sure could have used a warning on the parts bag that the nut was left-handed. The oven works great. Many thanks to the customer service agent he was knowledgeable, accurate, made great suggestions, and basically saved the day. Read More...
