Orifice meters the gas flow to a burner for correct flame size and steady heat. Replacing a damaged orifice helps restore proper burner operation for consistent cooking performance and safer combustion. What it does:

• Controls the amount of gas reaching the burner to create a stable, correct-sized flame.
• Restores normal burner flame when the flame is weak, irregular, or the range/oven won't reach expected heat.
• Prevents incomplete combustion symptoms like yellow or flickering flames when installed correctly.
• Works at the interface between the gas valve/jet and burner tube to regulate fuel delivery.

What's included: One orifice. Install notes:

• Turn off the gas supply and unplug the appliance before servicing.
• Remove burner grates and caps to access the orifice; handle parts carefully to avoid damage.
• Thread the orifice in by hand, then snug with the proper wrench—do not overtighten.
