Neither element was damaged or blistered. After reading the descriptions or troubleshooting on Appliance Parts Pros, I determined that the control board had failed on my range. I ordered a replacement from Appliance Parts Pros and then watched the video on how to replace the part. It took approximately 15 minutes to replace. Everything went smoothly and simply.
