Fred A Fort Wayne , IN December 14, 2019 Appliance: Frigidaire Gas Range LGGF3046TFA Scratches on my stainless steel control panel cover I pulled the range away from the wall so I would have access to the screws securing the stainless steel cover. As I proceeded, most of the screws were visible. However, when I tried to remove the cover, it was still fastened and at first, it was not clear to me how to reach those screws. I contacted the helpline for assistance. While waiting on them for help, I continued working on a way to remove the cover. I found I had to remove a back panel on the range which exposed the screws that were hidden on the bottom. Once this was done, it was an easy fix to complete the job. The helpline person said there were top brackets on each side of the range holding the cover in place. This information was not correct. Read More...
