Description

This replacement OEM part is a microwave control panel. The microwave control panel is the part that houses the main button on the microwave used to adjust the main microwave commands. Luckily, replacing a control panel is a relatively simple process. To replace the control panel make sure to unplug the power chord. Use a a screwdriver to remove the upper grill on the top section of the microwave. With the microwave door open remove the mounting screws that secure the control panel. Once unfastened, lift the control panel up to release it from the microwave. Remove the wire harnesses and any individual wires attached to the old panel. Be sure to take note of their orientation. Replace the wires into the new control panel in the correct terminals. Slide the new control panel back in place and rethread the mounting screws. Secure the upper grill panel, and restore power to the appliance. This genuine replacement part is compatible with Frigidaire, Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Westinghouse brand microwaves.
