Kenneth A Denison , TX October 02, 2017 Appliance: Model FRIGIDAIRE Freezer door gasket and liner replacement. Gasket and liner arrived as planned. Clips were a day later. Used "hog ring" pliers to remove the clips, worked great. Pre-punched holes in the gasket did not match the original but the plastic liner did. Used an ice pick to punch the gasket and inserted the clips. This is a chest freezer, so install the hinge side first. Jerry R Fort Myers , FL June 08, 2019 Inner liner cracked around the edges from kids sitting on it. Insulation in lid was frozen solid Ordered the inner panel for the lid, gasket and clips. I took a rotary tool and cut a notch in a 2” putty knife. Worked great for popping the old clips out. Put the gasket in the utility sink full of hot water while pulling clips. Used the cardboard that protected the new panel to cover the open freezer. After pulling the gasket and inner panel away, took blow dryer and melted all the ice and used towels to absorb the water in the insulation (increased the time of the repair by 3 times) . Put the new gasket on the new panel, using the new clips went together very easily. Much cheaper than having a repairman do it, or a new freezer. Wife can stop nagging me (about the freezer that is). Neil L Atascadero , CA July 17, 2014 The old liner was cracked and allowed ice to form inside the lid of the freezer I removed the push pins from around the outside of the seal and liner with a screw drive. Put the new liner and seal up with one other person holding it in place and just pushed the pins back in the holes. Less that 30 minutes done, works great, seals great, perfect fit and saved me a lot of money by doing it myself.
