Oscar T Eureka Springs , AR January 22, 2015 Appliance: Frigidaire Refrigerator FRS23R4CB3 The refrigerator door on my side by side was popping when opened at 90 degrees I went to Appliance Parts Pros and watched a few videos. Ordered the door closer plate and door hinge bearing. Removed all of the door bins and contents. Removed four screws total. Lifted the door off of the hinge, replace the two parts on the bottom hinge. Put the door back on the hinge with a little silicone on the new parts. Replaced all of the screws and no more popping. It took more time to clean all of the door bins than to fix the hinge. The video was 100% accurate. No surprises. If you have the same problem,I would advise you to order both at the same time.(something I wish I had done) Door bushing is not shown in door breakdown unless you select the lower hinge which I didn't need. Then it shows up as an associated part. Installation is straight forward, they even provide a video to show you how. Simply take off the upper hinge cover, remove 2 3/8 bolts, lift door off, install parts and reassemble. One person can handle the door removal and installation as it doesn't weigh that much .
