Donald R Levittown , PA October 31, 2020 Appliance: Model FRIGIDAIRE FRONT LOADER A suspension spring broke. I believe the shock absorbers were bad and caused too much stress on the spring, breaking it. I replaced the spring, spring protector, and shock absorbers. I got lucky; when I got the drum back up where it belonged I saw that the door boot seal straightened itself back out and wasn’t damaged so I didn’t have to replace it. The whole job took about three hours and the washing machine runs more smoothly now than it did when it was new!
