Description

This compressor starter engages the start windings so the refrigerator/freezer compressor can begin running. When the starter fails, the compressor may not start, leading to warm temperatures and clicking or brief humming from the compressor area.

• Provides a brief, high-current assist to the compressor's start winding to initiate operation
• Automatically disengages after startup so the compressor runs normally
• Common symptoms of a faulty starter: compressor won't start, repeated clicking, brief hum then stop, little or no cooling
