Description

This door switch detects whether the appliance door is open or closed. A working switch lets the machine start when the door is fully shut and stops operation when the door opens for safety.

• Monitors door position and allows the cycle to run only when closed
• Interrupts power to stop operation when the door opens
• Common symptoms of a failing switch: appliance won't start with the door closed, must press/hold the door to run, interior light stuck on/off, or a "door open" message on models with a display
