Glenn P Swanton , VT May 31, 2014 My wife went to turn on the dryer and only got a buzzing noise I've never attempted to repair an appliance myself before, but I seen it was really bothering my wife because it was a Sunday with a holiday on Monday. So I pulled the dryer out and looked at the back and seen it was only six screws to take the top off the back. Then it was only two wires attached to the starter button. I called local appliance stores and they quoted me $50. service calls, $49 dollar part, and about three days before they could come. I went to the PC and typed in Dryer start button and the brand. AppliancePartsPro.com came up. It asked for the brand and model number which I found in the inside door.I put it in and it took me right to the part I was seeing and the cost was $25 and delivery within 1.7 days. I ordered the part and it came in the day after the holiday. It had a video on what to do and it took me about 10 minutes, and saved me about $70. You now have another customer for all my appliance part needs. Michael U Weslaco , TX December 21, 2019 Appliance: Model KENMORE 626 69422 Dryer wouldn't start Easily installed the start switch and still had the problem. As I tinkered with the door switch, the dryer came alive. I ordered a door switch now and am waiting for the part so I can install it. The videos are very good at explaining the install procedures.
